Overview
Nixon Allen are a specialist insurance recruitment firm based in Wakefield. We are a small but long standing and successful business with strong track record in our specialist market and reputation for the quality of our work. We are currently seeking to recruit a part-time resourcer and administrator to support the Director and fee earners in recruiting insurance professionals into permanent roles across the UK. Typically working with candidates and assignment in the £25,000 - £150,000 salary range for permanent roles, with the majority of our work in the £35-70,000 bracket. Our clients and candidates are professional in their style and approach. Nixon Allen will allow for flexible working hours, ideally for the equivalent of 3 or 4 days. Once the successful candidate has proven themselves an element of home-working could also be possible. Duties Include: Learning and understanding the general insurance market place, the various jobs within the sector and gaining a good working knowledge of industry terminology and the insurance industry landscape. Approaching potential candidates, through all the usual recruitment tools, mainly phone, email and Linkedin Identifying and screening high calibre candidates for both the active and potential roles we have within the industry. Contacting and gaining candidate’s interest in the recruitment opportunities we have to offer and obtaining their commitment. Ensuring that all allocated roles are worked on, keeping the consultant up-to-date on the progress of your searches and possible candidates. Booking calls with potential candidates in the consultant’s diary. Occasionally taking calls with candidates when the consultant is occupied. Registering and importing candidates onto our database. Sending job specs to candidates. Reformatting and typing CV`s Organising our data on our in-house data base. Advertising roles on various recruitment websites. Creating and sending out e-shots to our candidates and clients. Creating, accurate invoices in a timely fashion in-order to bill our clients. As a Recruitment Resourcer you will ideally have experience in the following: Some experience of working in a professional services recruitment consultancy Strong administrative skills and keen eye for details Working with a recruitment CRM/Data base I.T package LinkedIn knowledge and experience Excellent people and communication skills. Confident telephone manner. Self-Motivated. Excellent organisation skills
