Business Intelligence and Analytics Manager - Python, R, Power BI, VBA, Advanced Excel, Big Data Birmingham, Edgbaston - £40,000 - £50,000 Cycle Scheme, Dental & Medical Insurance and more. A growing healthcare organisation is seeking a Business Intelligence and Analytics Manager to bring commercial awareness into the company and lead a team of young and dynamic Data Analysts in delivering actionable insights from large, complex data sets. The successful Business Intelligence and Analytics Manager will have an extremely strong background in advanced analytics and Data Science with an ability to mentor junior team members on certain analytical practices, therefore experience of managing/leading a team is essential. The Business Intelligence and Analytics Manager will be the company super-user of Python and VBA and therefore must be comfortable with troubleshooting and problem-solving for other team members. As well as technical expertise, you will need a strong set of "soft" skills which will enable you to liaise with internal and external stakeholders, mentor junior colleagues and communicate actionable insights to commercial departments. The successful Business Intelligence and Analytics Manager will possess: Essential Strong Python or R Background VBA, Advanced Excel experience Experience managing or leading a team Strong repertoire of "soft" skills Commercial Awareness Strong Power Platform experience: Power BI - Advanced DAX Desired Experience with BigData tools - Hadoop, Spark etc Text Mining Experience (NLP) Knowledge of CRM packages Experience with Statistical Modelling Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Economics or Business Intelligence If you're an experienced data expert looking to take on a new challenge in a fast-growing, dynamic organisation where you will directly inform commercial decisions then this is the role for you.
