FBN UK is looking for a Vendor Risk Manager to join our small and collaborative workplace. The role will work with the Head of Governance and Control as the central point of contact for Vendor Risk management and Procurement. You will have an opportunity to develop and enhance policies and procedures; provide advice and guidance to internal stakeholders with vendor relationships. You will have exposure to the Executive level of the Bank and may be expected to prepare and present information to senior management. Responsibilities In this position you will: Develop Procurement and Vendor Management procedures and operationalize the process to ensure its fully embedded within the business Run the Procurement and Vendor Management Governance forum to manage upcoming contracts reviews, vendor on-boarding and critical vendor risk assessment to ensure it complies with the EBA guidelines Conduct cost analysis and cost saving exercise of existing vendors, produce monthly MI of cost per department and trend analysis Identify business owners for vendors and provide relevant advice to them Design and implement adequate controls for on-going vendor management Facilitate the business on contract negotiation, contract renew and contract review Support the Head of Governance and Controls with the completion of ad hoc tasks when required Person Specification: Experience/Knowledge Experience in vendor risk management Understanding of EBA guidelines and requirements is key Able to read and understand commercial contracts Solid quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, attention to detail and strong Excel skills Proven interpersonal skills and experience in communicating with and advising colleagues at different levels of organization Technical Skills: Intermediate Excel (including Pivots) and PowerPoint Interpersonal Skills: Strong organizational and planning skills. Enthusiastic, pragmatic and solutions driven Ability to run meetings, workshops and speak confidently with vendors and internal stakeholders Strong communication skills (both written and oral) Ability to demonstrate initiative and work with a fair degree of autonomy Accountability and strong teamwork Languages: Strong written (must be able to write procedures) and verbal communication in English
