Handyman Job at famous West London University. A long term Maintenance job paying a competitive rate. Mon-Fri. Your new company An exciting job opportunity has arisen in a leading UK research university as a Handyman. Research driven and internationally acclaimed, the West London-based University caters to around 15,000 students. The main focus of the Handyman job is to cover a host of refurbishment tasks across the Universities 400 Student accommodation rooms. Your new role Operating in a fully integrated campus across a vibrant and distinguished site, the Handyman will be responsible for the provision of repairs, refurbishment and operation of the University's Fabric services, together with reactive works of alteration and upgrade. Assessment and analysis of Fabric installations across the site's various buildings; Doors Locks and handles Skirting, roofing and flooring Painting and Decorating and more What you'll need to succeed The right candidate will have proven experience working to tight deadlines and great attention to detail. A formal qualification is not required, however, painting and decorating or carpentry qualifications would be beneficial. The successful candidates will have a 'can-do' attitude and be able to work Monday to Friday What you'll get in return You will receive a competitive rate of pay and generous overtime.
