8.75 - £9.30 per hour DOE We are looking for positive and enthusiastic individuals to join a Children’s Residential Home with an ‘Outstanding’ CQC rating to become a Support Worker in the Southampton area of Hampshire. You will be providing fantastic care and support to children with Learning/Physical disabilities, Autism and Challenging Behaviours. You would be working in a small bedded home. It’s not often that they look to recruit, they have a very low staff turnover and a long-established staff team, which enables them to look for people with or without experience. There is plenty of training and support available to help you flourish. Hours and Qualifications £8.75 - £9.00 per hour DOE; £9.30 per hour if you have Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People’s Workforce; Plus £70.47 per sleep-in, additional; Full-time, 40 hours per week; Must be available for split shifts and alternate weekends for days; Must be available for sleep ins; You must hold a valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle. Responsibilities As their Residential Support Worker, you will help them get dressed, encourage them to get washed, and make sure they have a good breakfast. After school or on weekend shifts, you’d encourage them to participate in activities and hobbies, teach them life skills and help them find what they are passionate about, so they can grow up into the person they want to be. You will make a real difference to the life of every child by creating positive experiences every day and helping them make progressive steps.
