Full Stack JavaScript Developer, Node.js, Serverless, SaaS, React, AWS A unique opportunity for a Full Stack JavaScript Developer to join a growing and ambitious tech start-up (software) in the Thames Valley. The Full Stack JavaScript Developer (Node.js) is needed to help to build a serverless software platform that will become the flagship SaaS product, with a focus on serverless cloud based architecture, RESTful APIs, and microservices The Full Stack JavaScript Developer will form part of a new team therefore will need to be someone who can bring new ideas to the table as well as deliver awesome (clean and reusable) code The role requires an engineer who has previously worked on a public cloud hosted SaaS product on AWS but Azure will also be considered. Finally, we are seeking energetic candidates with good team skills as there is a lot of meaningful collaboration between engineers, product managers and designers. Person Specification js Solid experience developing with JavaScript Have worked with RESTful APIs and Microservices Experience writing JavaScript server applications with Node.js Some experience developing a SaaS product Experience with Serverless services, preferably in AWS (e.g. Lambda) Knowledge or experience of AWS and/or Azure (including access APIs) Responsibilities Participating in the full lifecycle of the product development Collaborating with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features Taking part in technology and architecture discussions, advocate for engineering best practices (CI/CD, testing, operational efficiency etc.) Work with the UX team to optimise product usability making it more intuitive Support continuous testing efforts through test automation This really is a fantastic opportunity to join an up-and-coming tech start-up If you feel you have what it takes, please APPLY NOW for immediate consideration.
