Overview
Receptionist / Administrator We are looking for a friendly and efficient Receptionist / Administrator to provide a warm welcome to all our visitors. You will work in conjunction with the other Receptionist/Administrator and have the flexibility to provide cover during periods of annual leave. Receptionist / Administrator Responsibilities: In this role you will be the first point of contact for our visitors and will maintain an efficient administration support system. This is a varied role and duties will range from managing telephone calls on the main switchboard, accepting donated stock with associated gift aid; responding and forwarding e-mail enquiries; maintaining meeting room bookings; processing the mail for the site; processing donations including banking / recording and other administration tasks as required. Receptionist / Administrator Requirements: We are looking for someone who can demonstrate strong communication skills and is friendly, enthusiastic, professional and empathetic. You will have worked in a role providing general reception and switchboard duties and are able to demonstrate good organisational skills and be proficient in the use of Microsoft packages and Salesforce or a similar database system. About Children's Hospice (South West): Children’s Hospice South West is a registered charity dedicated to the provision of hospice care for children with life-limiting conditions and their families in the South West. We aim to recruit friendly and enthusiastic staff who are motivated to really make a difference to the lives of the children and families who visit us. Location: Based at Little Bridge House, Fremington, Barnstaple Job Type: Part Time, Permanent, 19.75 hours per week worked over Monday & Tuesday 08:45 – 17:00 and Wednesday 08:45 – 13:00.
