This reputable Engineering Consultancy is looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their team in their Birmingham office; they are also interested in speaking with Principal level engineers Duties and Responsibilities This position is for someone who has experience as a Senior Electrical Design Engineer in the Building Services Industry ·As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer will lead the development of initial strategic concepts for projects ensuring solutions are appropriate for the brief and regulatory standards. ·Detailed design of Electrical Services ·Experience in the Education, Healthcare, Commercial or Residential sectors will be of particular benefit however we undertake a wide range of project types in many sectors in the Birmingham office so experience from other sectors will also be of interest. ·Client facing role attending meetings ·Overseeing Junior members of the team ·Carrying out design calculations - both manually and computer techniques ·You will be financially astute and work with the team leader to help monitor fee expenditure, resource and work delivered. Requirements: ·You will previously have worked in a Building Services Consultancy or Contractor as a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Principal Electrical Design Engineer ·ONC/HNC/Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering ·Understanding and experience of working with AutoCAD and design software's such as Amtech, Trimbl, Dialux andRelux In return ·The role as a Senior Electrical Design Engineer on permanent basis with regular salary reviews based on merit and a clear line for progression ·Competitive salary and package which equates to £45-£55k Company car or Car allowance ·Flexitime ·Private Medical scheme ·Support towards further professional accreditation Referral incentive: If you know of anyone who you feel maybe suitable for this role we would welcome a personal or professional referral.
