Overview

Tokio Marine Kiln are looking for outstanding graduates to join their award-winning Graduate Programme which will eventually lead to a trainee underwriting position after two-and-a-half-years. This is a fantastic opportunity to focus on your personal and professional development where you will rotate around many different areas of the business and underwriting divisions to gain in-depth knowledge about their International Underwriting Business. They will provide you with a structured learning and development programme which will include the ACII professional studies and a broad spectrum of product knowledge. Programme Structure: Two-week induction Year 1: Four underwriting rotations across each department with shorter non-underwriting rotations in-between Year 2: Up to three longer underwriting placements across divisions selected by the business Final placement: Wordings, Claims and Overseas in the teams relevant to your Trainee Underwriter role after the programme On-boarding into Trainee Underwriter role Requirements: 2:1 honour degree or above in any discipline Well demonstrated analytical skills Excellent interpersonal skills Strong communication skills Ability to work as part of a team Proven numeric ability Fluency in English Demonstrate experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
