Overview

Main purpose of job: To provide a first class People Service through the timely and accurate completion of people processes and responding to customer needs. Main Responsibilities: Day to day responsibilities · The accurate completion of people processes via the HR information system · Logging and responding to People enquiries that come through the People mail box or by phone in a professional and consistent manner, redirecting as necessary. · Processing new starter and leaver documentation. · Preparing new starter contracts and terms & conditions contract changes. · Managing the retention of employee documents and records according to GDPR regulations. · Preparing reference requests. · Organising and conducting People Support on boarding and inductions as required. · Compiling management information and reporting. Project Work · Identifying and implementing improvements in people processes. · Providing administrative support to People Change Projects. · Supporting the development of process and user guidance documentation. · Advising and supporting the design of new call logging technology Essential Criteria · Excellent administration and organisational skills. · Attention to detail and accurate data entry skills. · Basic knowledge of employment legislation and its application in the workplace. · Previous experience of having worked within an HR / People Services Department. · Inquisitive desire to learn and take initiative to make improvements. · Advanced Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel skills. · Being able to build rapport and effective relationships quickly. · Understands the needs of confidentiality. · A team player. Desirable Criteria · CIPD level 3 equivalent. · T&A and/or Payroll experience. · Experience of using CRM call logging technology. · Experience of collating and presenting management information.
