Overview

IT Service Desk Team Leader and 3rd Line Support | Oldham | Up to £30,000 DOE Your new company An established engineering company Your new role There is a requirement for a well versed 3rd line support person to come in and lead the IT support team, maintaining the businesses infrastructure, whilst taking escalations from 2nd line Install, configure, troubleshoot, support and maintain I.T. infrastructure e.g. PC's, Servers, Switches, Printers. Provide Support for business applications, troubleshooting software and hardware problems and liaising with suppliers where necessary. Provide advanced support for Microsoft Windows and Office. Maintain and develop the Active Directory, including Group Policies. Maintain and support system such as email, AETD, Anti-Virus and Windows Update, Anti Malware and a good understanding of Cyber Security. Ensure Backups are performed and any problems are dealt in a timely manner. Maintain the call logging system and handle escalation. Support the LAN and WAN network infrastructure. Maintain the VOIP telephony system. Some travelling between sites when required so full driving license is essentials.
