Overview
A leading global recruitment company in Glasgow are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join their team. If you can demonstrate experience of delivering 3rd line Cisco support and proactive management of a corporate network infrastructure, then you could be the Senior Network Engineer we're looking for. What will you be doing? As a Senior Network Engineer, you'll be responsible for supporting our network infrastructures across global offices and datacentres with Cisco functions in the form of installation, configuration and maintenance of network estate. As well as working with trouble shooting and resolving issues, you will be involved in projects that are focused on the continued improvement of network environment and systems. Working closely with technical design authority you will be responsible for designing, recommending and implementing network services. What skills/experience should you have? Hands on experience managing the entire Cisco technology stack (Routing & Switching, Security, ASA Firewalls, WIFI, DMVPN) Working knowledge of cloud networking (Azure\AWS), architecture and migrations Taking lead on projects that will vary but ultimately focus on network improvements. Managing service impacting incidents and escalations of network issues in timely manner. Provide guidance and recommendations on network design and best practices Experience VoIP and unified communications would be advantageous CCNP or working towards certifications Who will you be working for?
