On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Vendor / Procurement Manager for a 12 month contract based in London. Purpose of the Role: To be involved in a controls acceleration programme including a Financial Crime transformation project. As a Vendor / Procurement Manager you will be responsible for: Managing commercial relationships with vendors. This person will be owning the process to redefine the T&Cs of new contract so that they are much more favourable than they currently are. Do a health check/ bench marking exercise on the vendors. Looking at what Santander are expecting, and this is what's being delivered. Manage commercial aspects. Contract management. Writing contracts. What we require from the candidate: Previous responsibility for all vendor, outsourcing and third party relationship. Making sure the vendor delivers the quality of service going above and beyond. Ability to write the new contracts and lead those discussions. Pulling the right people together across the bank with a proven track record with vendor relationships. Need to be level headed. Santander will only accept workers operating via an Umbrella or PAYE engagement model.
