CNC Turner - Setting and Operating Fanuc experience Essential Permanent Position Rotating Morning and afternoon shift Overtime available CNC Turner Setter/Operator Our Client are a global Engineering Manufacturer that focuses on the precise control and movement of fluids in critical applications. they work with leading international companies in over 50 countries to deliver innovative engineering solutions to address global trends such as clean energy, energy efficiency, healthcare and increasing automation. Job summary: Working with Lean production environment using lean methodologies, the CNC Turner will be required to set and operate the CNC Machines efficiently and effectively producing quality components to satisfy customer requirements. The CNC Turner will be an ambassador and role model for our client and will act with integrity and in accordance with the company policies at all time. Responsibilities: Setting and operating machines tools efficiently Machining a variety of components in different batch quantities within required standards. Checking the quality of all parts manufactured to ensure they are within tolerance. Multi-machine manning to enhance machine spindle time on the CNC machines. Reading and interpretation of CNC programs, editing of speeds and feeds if required. Use of hand measuring equipment. Participation in root cause analysis and defect processes. Qualifications and Experience: Experience and knowledge of working in a similar role within a precision engineering/manufacturing environment is desirable. Relevant engineering qualifications such as recognised apprenticeship is desirable. Knowledge of the Defence/Nuclear industry and standards and accreditations is desirable. Can-Do, will Do attitude with the ability to problem solve and determination to continually improve the business. Excellent attention to details with high accuracy level.
