Overview
CNC Miller - Nightshift Contek are working with a well-established Precision engineering company based in Coventry who produce high quality sub-contract machining for the Oil and Gas sector predominantly amongst others. As a CNC Miller Programmer, your duties will include; Programming and Operating CNC Milling machines using Mills with Heidenhain, Fanuc and Mazak Controls (Or Transferrable Skills on similar operating systems) Working to tight tolerances Using 3/4-axis machines Working in a sub-contract environment producing high tolerance parts for the Oil and Gas and Aerospace sectors. The Candidate: To be considered for this role, the candidate must possess the following; Strong experience Programming - Heidenhain/Fanuc/Mazatrol Confidently able to write own programmes from scratch Able to read and work to technical drawings 3/4 axis experience Able to work unsupervised Experience working with varied materials. Hourly rate is negotiable on experience with a 33% shift allowance. Night shift: Either: Monday-Thursday 6:00pm-4:00am OR Monday-Friday 6:00pm-2:30am
