Job Profile for CNC Miller / Programmer CNC Miller / Programmer required for a leading sub-contract manufacturer of precision engineered parts, supplying the Automotive, aerospace and oil and gas markets to name a few. Due to the ongoing success and growth of the business, they are seeking an experienced CNC Setter / Operator with experience programming machine centres with Fanuc controls This is an excellent opportunity for a CNC Machinist to join a well-established and growing business that can offer a long term career opportunity. CNC Miller / Programmer Position Overview Setting and operating the range of milling machinery predominantly with fanuc controls Creating programs directly on the machine, working from engineering drawings Uploading and editing to the machines using Fanuc controls Liaise with the Team Leader on drawings and job cards Work towards company health and safety standards CNC Miller / Programmer Position Requirements Previous experience in the Setting and Operating a variety of CNC Milling Machinery Ability to upload and edit programs essential, and ability to create programmes at the machinery using Fanuc controls Working to strict tolerances to ensure QMS is met (ISO 9001) Experience or exposure to CAD/CAM Packages advantageous but not necessary. Previous experience inspecting own work with hand tools Maintain health and safety within the workplace and make sure you operate in a clean environment Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Ability to plan and work from own initiative, with minimum supervision Strong communication skills Based in a commutable distance of Coventry CNC Miller - Operator / Programmer Position Remuneration 13ph-14.50ph depending on experience 20 Days Holiday BH Pension Bennett & Game Recruitment are acting as a Recruitment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
