Overview

1st/2nd Line IT Support Team Lead A 1st/2nd Line IT Support Team Lead is required by a market intelligence firm that is based in London, but also has satellite locations in the US and Asia. This is the senior support role in small team that services around 200 users and has responsibility for line managing a less experienced member of the team. The role is a fixed term contract of 12 months In this 1st/2nd Line IT Support Team Lead role, the primary objectives and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Providing 1st/2nd Line support for all PC/laptop-based user incidents and enquiries, escalating cloud and infrastructure support issues Supporting a user community of approximately 200 Line managing and mentoring a less experienced service desk analyst Providing support to a geographically dispersed user community via remote tools, over the phone and in person. Undertaking basic desktop related server administration Providing support to a predominantly Microsoft centric IT environment Ensuring that user incidents and/or service requests are managed within internal SLA’s Liaising with other elements of the wider IT function including development and projects To be a suitable candidate for this1st/2nd Line IT Support Team Lead, candidates require the following: Experience in a similar 1st and 2nd Line IT support role with experience of mentoring, and preferably managing others Using formalized service desk management software or applications Technical experience to include Windows 7 and 10, Window Server tools including AD and Exchange Troubleshooting on PC/Laptop hardware and other PC peripherals PC imaging and deployment experience A related degree or industry qualifications would be beneficial, but are not a pre-requisite CB Resourcing operates as both an employment agency and an employment business.
