Mental Health Teaching Assistant - Greenwich - ASAP Start - £75-£90 a day - SEMH School Mental Health Teaching Assistant required in Greenwich Mental Health Teaching Assistant required to start ASAP Mental Health Teaching Assistant required in a SEMH School Must hold an enhanced DBS within the last 12 months or on the Update Service Do you have previous experience supporting children with Mental Health? If you answered yes to the above, then this Mental Health Teaching Assistant role is for you Mental Health Teaching Assistant For this Mental Health Teaching Assistant role you will be required to support a small class of 9 students in KS2 in and out of the classroom. When working in the classroom you will be working closely with the subject teachers to manage the behaviour of the students and assist them with their work, this will include Maths, English, Science and various other subjects. During the student's morning break and lunchtime break you will be required to oversee their behaviour making sure everyone is safe and no one is in any danger. The ideal Mental Health Teaching Assistant for this role will need to be positive, encouraging, approachable and have previous experience working with children or adults with Mental Health this does not need to have been within a classroom setting. SEMH School Found in the borough of Greenwich, this SEMH School caters for students aged between 5-17 years that have Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. They currently have 70 students on role and in their last Ofsted in 2018, they were reviewed as 'good' in all areas.
