With over 6,000 stores internationally my client are a well known household name that offer a number of exciting opportunities. About the role Our Frontend / Web Software Engineers are agile teams of industry leading engineers upon our customer facing web applications. We require someone with strong infrastructure experience and front end technologies to run the releases within these teams. Some of the tech we are using at scale: ES6, React, Redux, React-router, Node, Angular, Less, Styled-components Webpack, webdriver.io, Cloud Infrastructure, Docker Cloud and Infrastructure experience required: Very strong Azure/AWS/GCP experience (Azure preferable) Strong Infrastructure-as-Code skill Terraform Ansible Docker Kubernetes Ability to set up release pipelines, pre-production and production environments on cloud infrastructure Strong understanding of cloud hosting considerations Alerting / Monitoring Deployments CDNs Ability to debug infrastructure problems Scripting capabilities Desirable Front End experience: Experience as a Frontend Software Developer or have worked in a front end environment Exposure to a variety of JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as: React, Redux, Webpack React-Router and testing with Jest, Jasmine, Enzyme, Mocha. Understanding and exposure to integrating REST API endpoints Strong experience and understanding of industry standard web accessibility, web design & usability; to support sites cross browser/platform/device Experince of DevOps model Experience in Lean and Agile environments and understanding of principles behind methodologies such as: BDD, ATDD and TDD
