Broker Backup Technician, City, Salary up to £40,000, working for an Independent Lloyd's Broker. Your new company Your new job working as a Broker Backup Technician, will be working for a long-established, independent, specialist Lloyd's broker dedicated to getting the best solutions for its client. Your new Brokers pride themselves on building long-term working relationships with our clients worldwide and with our insurance carriers. Due to substantial growth in the Non-Marine division, a permanent position in the London office as a Broker Backup Technician has arisen. Your new role Your new job working as a Broker Backup Technician means you will be responsible for Open Market risks, preparing documents (including, but not limited to MRC slips, Certificates, Endorsements, etc.) that meet the market requirements via the Xchanging system and processing transactions via the Brokasure system. You will also be responsible for the administration of Clients' insurance requirements including; general queries, renewals and mid-term adjustments. Other duties will include liaising with the Non-Marine broking team and providing technical and administrative support to them and also liaising with Insurers regarding clients' insurance needs. What you'll need to succeed Your previous experience working as a Technician handling Open Market risks will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have high attention to detail and be able to use your own initiative. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will be confident in your interpersonal skills, including the ability to consult and influence at all levels. You will be confident in your ability to develop effective working relationships externally and internally. You will be able to manage and control your own personal effectiveness, including time management and priority setting during this role.
