Overview

Our client is a strongly established and nationally recognised brand with a respected household reputation. They are looking for a highly organised and pro-active Internal Sales Coordinator to join their Kettering office and maintain the high-quality services that they pride themselves on. This role is suited to a skilled communicator with a consultative sales approach, that is seeking an opportunity with future career development. Main Responsibilities: Within a defined timescale, ensure that all quotes are efficiently followed-up by phone Take the customer through the quotation / Design Pack to make sure that they fully understand every aspect of the offer and related issues (including installation, operation, function, ironmongery, interface details etc.) Identify areas where the customer needs help in order to understand technical, regulatory and practical aspects of their requirements. Fully explain the features and benefits that the company brand offers with focus on added value to the customer and inform about lead time and post order process. Deal with any objections in a consultative way. Identify and respond to any buying signals from the customers Ensure that orders are not lost on price or lead time knowingly Coordinate with the company Joiners to ensure customers get a seamless experience Prepare re-quotes where relevant At all times follow the structured sales process (DAPA) to ensure that every element of the sales process is covered. Negotiate and close orders Ensure contracts are formed on brand terms and that there is clarity about who they are in contract with Advise customer of payment terms and ensure customers are clear about lead time and the next steps in the ordering process Ensure that all relevant information is handed over to the Post Order Coordinator where required. Respond to general (phone or mail) incoming enquiries Attend exhibitions, taking an active promotion role on the stand Host customers in the showroom area and ensure that their requirements are identified to provide the best possible information Proactively participate in the continuous improvement of overall quality in the department. Key Skills and Attributes: Minimum 2 years sales experience in a sales environment (either office or field based, but telesales experience is preferred) A driven and proactive sales approach Strong relationship building and communication skills Ability to pick up technical information and discuss this clearly and effectively with customers Ability to take initiative and work under own direction, generating activity and action Operate in a systematic and methodical way to consistently achieve goals Can handle pressure and maintains focus in busy situations If you would like to apply for this opportunity, please submit an up-to-date CV including details about your current or most recent salary and your availability/notice period.
