Overview

Care Manager Team Medical are recruiting a Care Manager to work within their offices in Redbridge Southampton . Responsible for overseeing through management and control a number of clinical and care packages in the community, ensuring the highest standards of care, support and rehabilitation are being provided at all times for Team Medical (Southampton) Ltd . To manage the area care coordinator, to work as a team to meet the requirements of the service user and to ensure that their expectations are met or exceeded. Purpose of the Role ¨ To manage the care requirements of existing service users ¨ To ensure new packages are implemented in a timely manner ¨ To promote the business and its reputation when liaising with funders ¨ To manage and mentor a team of support workers within a package ¨ To line manage other office nominated personnel ¨ Develop working relationships with professionals, case managers, deputies and service user families. ¨ To develop new services as directed by Team Medical in new geographic areas or new client groups Key Responsibilities Service User Management - Staff Management – Compliance and Reporting Key Skills & Experience ¨ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills ¨ Have at least 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role. ¨ Solid IT skills are desirable ¨ Problem solving & crisis management ¨ Time management ¨ Hands on experience of provision of care service ¨ Line management ¨ Full driving license and car available at all times · Presentation skills · NVQ qualification Personal Characteristics: ¨ Ability to deal with people at all levels ¨ Proven ability to manage an internal and external client base ¨ Excellent networking and ‘soft sales’ skills ¨ Good time management and organisational skills ¨ Excellent word, excel and power point skills ¨ A professional, enthusiastic and self motivated individual ¨ Diplomatic and capable of handling complex situations ¨ Ability to deal effectively in all business relationships while projecting a positive image of the company and department. ¨ Ability to handle difficult situations. ¨ Excellent communication skills ¨ Self motivated with a strong desire to succeed. Hours of the office: 08:30 – 17:30 finishing Fridays at 17:00 – pending all the days business needs are met. Salary: £24,000.00 P.A .
