The business has undergone tremendous success and has some very exciting projects in the pipeline in which you will have the opportunity to play a key part and drive the business forward. The job Your role as Bakery Production Manager is to assist the Managing Director in all aspects of the production of the company’s product range and the smooth running of the bakery on an ongoing basis. You will represent the management in the MDs absence, making sure company values and standards are adhered to. This is a hands-on role where you will oversee the production teams, assist in all daily operations, ensure GMP is always maintained, ensure staff work in a safe and responsible manner plus maintain strong customer and supplier relationships. Your experience You will be a motivational and hands-on Manager with a strong food production track record plus preferably have experience of working in an industrial bakery environment. You will have solid team leading skills, be able to identify areas of improvement plus ideally be qualified in Food Safety, Food Hygiene and Health & Safety. The ability to work independently is essential, you will have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to resolve and troubleshoot issues independently. In addition, excellent team working skills are essential; you will have the ability to lead, motivate and work in harmony with both the production the wider company teams.
