We are recruiting an experienced and customer focused Quality Manager to be based at their manufacturing facility on the Isle of Man. Quality Manager Role summary The Quality Manager, Rest of World (ROW) reporting directly to the Director of Divisional Operations and will be based predominately in our clients Ramsey Facility on the Isle of Man. The Quality Manager (ROW) will oversee all facets of Operational Quality covering multiple sites and responsibilities. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing and ensuring the continuous improvement of all quality matrices in our high-speed manufacturing metal pressing facility in Ramsey. Managing and ensuring continuous compliance and certification to all recognised International Standards and maintaining continued compliance with the Company’s Quality Management System’s including our New Product Introduction Procedures across the Group, including its satellite facilities. Take a leading role in the management of ROW customer concerns including the facilitation of 8D reports along with other methods of customer communication and manage the SQA activities across a growing number of ROW suppliers ranging from Engineering Alloys to Chemical Resins. It is expected that the role will involve travel to mainland Europe, America & China. Quality Manger Key accountabilities Implement the Group Quality Strategy with specific focus on Customer quality and continuous internal quality improvement. Accountable for identifying, developing and implementing existing and new international standards to meet the Groups diverse requirements. To provide quality leadership to the ROW quality teams to ensure best practises are followed. Take personal responsibility for all customer complaints / concerns to ensure they are dealt with in a timely & professional manner. To create and present content for executive level presentations. Develop a continuous improvement culture with respect to quality, people and processes. Will provide Quality Engineering support to the NPI project teams (including audits) to ensure progress is made through the gateways. Core product PPM continuous improvement Cost of Quality continuous improvement Continuous Efficiency improvement Manage and continuously improve customer satisfaction Component Cpk continuous improvement Support the NPI project teams to achieve the required mile stones to enable projects to successfully pass through the Gateway procedures Quality Manager qualifications and experience Ideal candidate will have 10 years working in a similar manufacturing industry with 5 years at Management level Appropriate education background including formal certification in a quality related subject Certified ISO auditor Certified Risk Assessor Some kind of LEAN certification would be advantageous Ideal candidate will have a proven track record in directly managing Customer Quality related activities If you have the right experience and are open to living and working on the Isle of Man, we would like to hear from you.
