An exciting opportunity has become available in Newcastle with a company who are seeking a Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer. The company seeking the Geo-Environmental Engineer are an international multidisciplinary consultancy who provide engineering solutions throughout the built environment. The company is seeking a Senior/Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer to take on the day to day responsibilities of the role whilst having an input into business development whilst supporting the team around them. To be successful in your application you must demonstrate: A strong BSc/MSc in a relevant subject eg Engineering Geology/Environmental Engineering Working towards chartership with a relevant professional body. Experience working on GI projects from conception to completion Experience mentoring Junior staff Experience reviewing and producing technical reports This exciting role will include: Phase 1 & 2 Investigation and Reports Factual and Interpretative report writing Technical advice and support regarding Site Investigation Quantitative risk assessments and verification reports Site Investigation, including trial pitting, soakaway testing, borehole investigations.
