Commercial Manager - Rail Location: Swindon The Company You will be joining a large, regional civil engineering contractor based in Swindon who cover rail projects cross the South West and South Central region. This leading engineering company has built up a reputation for reliability and exceptional service delivery. Could this role be for you? The purpose of the Commercial manager is to lead the Commercial Team and support the Operations Manage to ensure that all commercial aspects of projects under their remit are properly managed and controlled, and that commercial strategy is developed and delivered in accordance with the requirements of the business. Responsibilities: Take ownership of the rail team's commercial performance, financial forecasting, monitoring and the control of all project contracts and costs. Produce monthly reports to the Operations Manager on projects performance Ensure that the commercial team understand the Contracts and Customer Deliverables Maximise efficient and effective use of all resources Develop commercial systems and procedures. Lead commercial trend analysis Producing and presenting monthly Business Management Meeting reports Project Controls, Change Management, Planning, Risk Management, Finance and Procurement. Take the lead for maintaining close liaison between operations and commercial managers for Project Controls, Change Management, Planning, Risk Management, Finance and Procurement. Why apply?
