The Hospice’s Team has a tight knit and supportive culture, it is a culture of hard work, efficiency and ‘going the extra mile’ and we are currently looking for a part-time Complementary Therapist to join this Team. In this rewarding role you will holistically assess the patient’s needs within the complementary therapy guidelines; taking into account the diagnosis, physical and emotional needs and to make appropriate cross-referrals. The successful applicant will be working across our Inpatient Unit, Day Therapy Service and Outpatient Clinic The successful candidate will have a high level Qualification in Complementary Therapy related subject, be registered with a validated Complementary Therapy Organisation and an experience of working in a complementary therapy setting Previous palliative care experience and skills in the use of Aromatherapy would be an advantage. You will need to work Tuesdays and Fridays, but we can be flexible on the other days you choose to work. Please note, this role is subject to a DBS check.
