Occupational Therapist - Complex Mental Health - London - up to £39,000 per annum A position has arisen for an occupational therapist with our private client who specialise in providing support for males and females over the age of eighteen, who have complex mental health, personality disorder and physical health needs. They may require low secure, locked rehabilitation, open rehabilitation, residential step down and community support services. They also provide care for elderly people who may suffer from dementia and who may also require palliative care. The unit is a low secure independent hospital providing safe and secure assessment, care and on-going treatment facilities for 22 male patients aged 18 years and over with severe and enduring mental illness and additional complex behaviour. The patients are people with diverse needs and presentations, often with psychotic symptoms, cognitive impairment, secondary diagnosis of personality disorder and can exhibit aggressive behaviour and poor insight.
