Job: Social OR Senior Social Worker Team(s): Assessment and Treatment AND Recovery and Wellbeing teams Salary: Grade 9 £28,785 to £31,371 OR Grade 10 £32,029 to £34,788 Location(s): Chichester, Crawley & Worthing Contract: Permanent, full time Hours: 37 hours per week These posts are subject to enhanced DBS checks and registration with Social Work England About the role: These posts are part of established multi-disciplinary mental health teams which provide treatment and support to adults experiencing mental health problems who have complex social and health needs. You will work with clients helping them maintain autonomy, social and occupational functioning within their community. Working as a Social Worker in a multi-disciplinary community mental health team, you will work as a Care Coordinator for clients experiencing severe and enduring Mental Health problems living in the community. Tasks will include partnership working, day to day assessment of new referrals, caseload management, work with families and carers, working with clients in crisis whilst managing risk, adult safeguarding and working within the SDS framework. In this setting, your role will also include promoting knowledge of their specialism and representing social work to other disciplines / agencies. You will also assist in fulfilling established quality assurance standards, targets and working together with managers to promote improvements in practice standards.
