Overview
Quality Manager based in Liverpool Food Manufacturing FMCG We are recruiting for a Quality Manager based in Liverpool the role is commutable from Preston, Manchester, Warringon, Wigan etc. Reporting to the Technical Manager The main objective of the post holder is to oversee a team of Quality Assurance Operatives, to set and monitor procedural standards based on company policy, ensuring all requirement's for safety, quality ,legality and customer needs are met in accordance with due diligence. Responsibilities: To achieve and maintain the required production target/efficiencies set for the relevant production line/s. To have a full understanding of all required specifications for products which are produced on line. To deal with any non conformance production that has been produced on shift. To ensure that product safety is guaranteed throughout the shift. Working in a small team of people, ensuring effective communication within the team and wider department colleagues. To ensure that all relevant documentation is completed in line with company procedures. As a member of the manufacturing team, to play a full part in ensuring all production requirements of the site are met, which will include providing cover across the team when appropriate. To actively promote and comply with all employment policies and procedures of the Company. To maintain a high level of house keeping, taking account of the Health and Safety standards in accordance with Company policy and legislation. Any other reasonable duties as instructed by the area supervisor or Shift Production Manager. The Ideal Candidate: HND/BSC or equivalent in food related discipline Minimum 5 years QA experience with at least two years at supervisory/management level Advanced Food Hygiene Good working Knowledge of HACCP's/BRC/Food Law Good working knowledge of Health & Safety.
