Overview
An established manufacturing business based in Preston are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller on a permanent basis. You will work closely with the Managing Director and take full responsibility of the day to day finances for the business. You will have full autonomy in making financial decisions and changes through the company. Your responsibilities will include Full responsibility for Management Accounts Budgets/Forecast Board meetings - presenting financial information Overseeing Finance function of AP Clerk/Accounts Assistant/Credit Controller (being prepared to roll up sleeves and get stuck in when necessary) P&L, balance sheet and cash flow Reviewing Payroll Stock analysis and reconciliation Standard cost calculations Produce annual forecasts and budgets Yearend stat accounts for review prior to filing In order to be considered for the role you must come from a manufacturing/engineering/ retail background. You will be a qualified Accountant CIMA , however QBE's will be considered. Experience of implementing systems in particular Sage 200 would be advantage as well as using the system Pegasus Opera. This will suit an Accountant who is happy to 'get stuck in' and loves to feel involved in business decisions. With this in mind you will ideally come from an SME background.
