Overview
Our client is seeking a Business Intelligence Development Manager to join their team in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Role: • Manage relations with my client’s Professional Services customers and assist in sales engagement with prospects • Manage and deliver a stream of customer estimate requests, specifications, report development work packages, and support requests to ensure timely deliver • Manage the quality of all team deliveries ensuring they are specified, reviewed, tested and approved • Improve the quality management processes, systems, working records and KPI reporting. • Manage the introduction and use of technologies for the production or reports and analytics (the data is currently in MS-SQL server, and reporting is developed in SSRS, a DataMart based on either Power BI or Tableau is intended) • Manage and develop the growing Professional Services Reports Team (currently consisting 4 job card developers, 2 reports developers, 1 report librarian, 1 customer support technician, 1 business developer) • Be a senior member of the Professional Services leadership team supporting the Professional Services Director in all aspects of Reports team, Integration Product development team and Integration team management • Complies with company policies & processes, particularly for quality, data protection, information security & secure systems engineering Competencies: • Qualified to degree level or 7 years’ time served in software/BI role (Essential) • 3 years’ experience as a similar Business Intelligence Management team leader/manager (Essential) • Business Intelligence solutions and tools (Essential) • SQL (Essential) • MS-SQL Server (Preferred) • DataMart / Datawarehouse design and tools (Essential) • Agile development using Microsoft Azure DevOps (Preferred) • Proficient in Microsoft office packages (Essential) • Business software e.g. CRM, accounting systems, etc Rewards: • Expenses paid for all overnight stays, subsistence and mileage whilst on business. • 33 days holiday, plus bank holidays, plus Birthday. • Pension plan (NEST 3% employer, 5% employee - April 2019 onwards) • Gym membership assistance £20 gross pay monthly (for 12 months) • Free massage in the office • "Motivational Mondays" - inspiring talks monthly from extraordinary people • Experience cutting edge technology and be part of a company that is shaping the future Should you have any questions or wish to apply please do not hesitate to contact Clear IT Recruitment Limited.
