Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Reporting and Data Manager to join our team, based at our head office in Altrincham. The Person - who you are; We are looking for someone who is passionate about using data to affect change within the business. The ideal candidate will have a growth mind-set and you are always striving to improve yourself as well as the team. Responsibility will lie with you to create, develop, test and maintain BI reports ensuring they are in line with business requirements and aligned to strategic plans as well as meeting user needs. You will be required to provide insights business wide, therefore, strong analytical skills, in addition to effective communication skills, will be important in supporting key stakeholders in decision making to achieve streamlined processes and greater commercial potency. Responsibilities; Using technical analysis, the successful candidate will be able to interrogate the company's data and communicate resulting efficiencies and potential new avenues and present at Senior Management / Board Level. You will be responsible for the improvement of a key line of business application, ensuring it is as effective as possible as well as advising on key business processes. Key responsibilities include: Work effectively with the Head of Channels and IT to develop high quality reports Advise on efficiencies and change Product management of bespoke line of business application and integrated systems Working with software development team on system changes, testing and improvement Define processes for data cleansing to ensure consistent high quality of data Identify, design and implement internal process improvements; automating manual processes and optimising data delivery Deliver updates to stakeholders based on analytics Governance and support of existing PBI self-serve solution Onboarding and ongoing training of workforce in PBI Requirements; A full personal commitment in terms of time and effort needed to deliver the responsibilities of the role Works collaboratively, with an analytical mindset, to support the wider business agenda Ability to visualise data insights and effectively communicate findings to clients/ stakeholders, at all levels within the organisation A strong attention to detail, ensuring accurate information is provided to the Directors and Senior Management Team Ability to be persuasive with details and challenge/ debate issues of importance to the organisation A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace Ability to prioritise multiple workstreams with a focus on deadlines and delivery Be flexible in approach and being mindful of change Experience; Experience as a Data Analyst or similar role Advanced Analytical Skills Reporting and data within an operational background Salesforce experience would be an advantage Working knowledge of Power BI is vital Building interactive dashboards and reports in PowerBI Report writing, deal with queries and ability to present/communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Advanced SQL knowledge for querying and exploring data sets Communication skills are essential A degree of commercial awareness to understand link between data and business impact
