Practice Manager (with potential to become Director) This is a truly fabulous role for an entrepreneurial accountant looking for an exciting long term career with excellent future earnings potential. Our client is a growing accounting practice based in Surrey and they seek an ambitious ACA or ACCA Qualified Accountant to join their senior management team. You will have strong technical skills and be motivated to become a future Director of the firm. Your hard work will certainly be rewarded and as a key member of staff you will share in the success and profitability of the company. You will be joining a well-established business with a growing client base, the majority of which are SME companies and their portfolio covers a diverse range of industry sectors including professional partnerships, companies regulated by the FSA, property, retail, media and many more. The role - reporting directly to the business owners, you will joining a highly motivated team and enjoy a varied role. The core areas of responsibility are: Becoming one of the "faces of the firm" in terms of meeting prospective clients Developing client relationships / networking Managing a client portfolio with the focus being on statutory accounts preparation and advisory work Assisting with tax advice Reviewing the work of staff members Heavily involved in the development and training of staff Assisting in the recruitment of new hires Previous experience of working within an Accounting Practice is essential. The main systems used are Xero and Iris, experience of which is beneficial. A very competitive package including a salary of up to £70,000 is offered plus a generous bonus scheme, based on individual and company performance.
