Herts Good Care is a non-profit company, supporting adult care providers across Hertfordshire to fill their permanent positions. We are currently working with Protea Care Homes to find a Support Worker to join their team. Job Shift: Days or Nights, Evenings and Weekends Location: Watford Type of Provider: Supported Living , Live in Care Salary: £9.00 Per Hour Hours of Work: 37.5 Driving Required: Yes Contract Type: Full Time Contract About the company We are currently recruiting for enthusiastic and innovative Support Workers to join our team in Watford. Supporting vulnerable adults with learning disabilities, mental health diagnosis, including behaviour that challenges. Our teams ensure the people we support lead a valued and fulfilling life, maximising their potential physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially. Our teams provide 24/7 support to the Service Users needs (including lone working) on a rota and shift basis. As a Support Worker at Protea Care Homes your main duties will include: -Supporting Service Users to access amenities that are in the community -Supporting Service Users with professional and personal relationships -Supporting Service Users with accessing education and employment -Supporting Service Users to set and meet goals -Supporting Service Users with their physical health -Ensuring the Service Users home is Safe, Caring, Effective and Responsive -Assisting line managers with ensuring that the service meets all requirements What makes the perfect Support Worker?
