Overview
Leading service provider within the IT service sector currently requires a CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified Management Accountant to join their expanding accounts function in a newly created role. Based in Leeds with excellent commuter links from Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield, Harrogate and Wakefield the business is currently undertaking a dynamic restructure of the finance team due to continued success. As a result of their growth they now require a career minded CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified management accountant/financial accountant to join the team. Working directly with the Financial Controller and a team of highly experienced qualified accountants your duties will include: Preparation, review and analysis of accurate and timely management accounts including commentary Balance sheet reviews monthly/quarterly VAT return Supporting yearend audit Continual review and improvement of procedures and key controls Supporting the new financial system implementation Ad hoc projects and reporting Challenge budget holders. Candidate Requirements: Hold an accounting qualification or be a finalist that is actively studying towards qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Have excellent communication skills Ability to use excel to an advanced level Ideally you will have previous management accountant/financial accountant experience. Consideration will also be given to anyone from a practice ground in either audit or accounts production. Previous experience within the services sector would also be advantageous but not essential.
