Overview
Global Accounting Network are currently partnering with a privately owned business based in Leeds to recruit a Group Financial Controller. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, the successful candidate will have responsibility for financial reporting, budgeting, financial analysis across the UK Group, as well as leading a small team. The Role Responsible for all group reporting including quarterly, half-yearly & annual statutory reporting for consolidation into the group accounts Monthly KPI reporting Working capital analysis & cash-flow forecasting Preparing the UK finance board papers Maintenance of UK financing models Management of the UK budgeting process Responsibility for all financial analysis across the UK group Preparation of the statutory accounts in-line with global group statutory reporting This role would be ideal for an ACA qualified accountant who is looking for their first move to practice, or for someone who has previously qualified in practice or industry who is looking to further their career. Knowledge of the energy industry is desirable but not essential and candidates will preferably be able to demonstrate the ability to manage a team, as well as possessing the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organisation.
