Overview

You'll be working as a Senior Associate in their Corporate Services team. Your role will be vital in supporting their strong client base including listed companies, financially regulated companies, third-sector clients and private trading companies. The role includes attending board meetings, taking minutes and advising on corporate governance. You'll also support clients with special projects such as corporate reorganisations, company law advice and helping clients maintain their corporate records. Management and support teams will always be available to assist and guide you. You'll learn new skills and develop existing knowledge and experience. You'll have the following attributes (although candidates meeting only some of the following criteria will be considered): - A qualified solicitor or a qualified chartered secretary (part-qualified considered) - dual qualification would be an advantage. - at least three years working in a professional services firm and at least five years relevant legal or company secretarial experience. - excellent knowledge of the Companies Act 2006. - experience working within or for publicly listed clients and/or financially regulated firms (preferred but not essential). The role is full time however candidates seeking to work between 3 and 5 days a week will be considered. Work outside of normal working hours and on weekends is actively discouraged. You'll earn the full-time equivalent of between £50,000 and £70,000 per year (pro-rated if less than full time) and be able to take part in their bonus and commission scheme. They are based in central London but most of their team members work remotely and many work from their own homes. You'll need to be able to commute to London around 2 or 3 times per month to attend board meetings but otherwise, you'll be able to work wherever you're able to connect to the internet.
