Overview
Professional confident HR Manager required to work for a large established manufacturing company based near Stourport The right candidate will have sole responsibility for all HR Policies and procedures of over 200 staff across 2 sites. Main duties will include: Manage employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement and redundancy. Apply HR and business knowledge evidencing appropriate decision-making skills. Advise managers on the terms and conditions of employment and knowledge share best practice with them. Develop HR policy and procedures to drive performance and mitigate disputes. Implement learning and development policy. Provide first line advice on current and existing benefits for employees and managers. Help administer payroll and payroll records and keep accounts appraised of any changes. Provide advice on recruitment and selection strategies. Support the recruitment process - this may include writing job descriptions and preparing interview questions and application forms etc. Carry out new starter inductions. Manage talent and succession planning. Drive alignment between HR strategy and business goals. Continuously monitor and review HR policies and processes and implement changes where necessary. Support change management processes. Suitable candidate must: Have a CIPD qualification or studying towards Have standalone experience in HR Be up-to-date in HR policies and procedures Ideally have experience working in a Engineering or Manufacturing environment Hours are Monday to Friday: Part time hours (9.30-3pm) Negotiable to meet candidate’s needs Salary Negotiable dependent upon experience
