Overview
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Cost Accountant to join a leading manufacturing organisation based within easy reach of both Sheffield and Chesterfield. Experience in a Cost Accountant role is essential, ideally experience will have been obtained with the Manufacturing industry. Key Duties and Responsibilities will include: Supporting Head of Finance with annual budgets, month and year end accounts Deliver accurate product costings Take a lead in the review of existing costings Record wastage Stock monitoring from source to finished goods Payroll Adhoc administration duties Taking the lead in annual stocktake Person Specification: Costing experience is essential Strong analytical skills Be computer literate with advanced Excel skills Have excellent literacy and numeracy skills Have accounts office experience Have confident and articulate telephone manner Possess strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships Be able to work unsupervised and in a safe manner. Ideally hold an accounts qualification Have previous manufacturing office experience This is a full time, permanent position working a 37.5 hour working week Monday to Friday This is a fantastic opportunity to join an organisation with an excellent reputation who have been established for over 100 years and have a global customer base.
