We currently have an exciting opportunity available fora Painter/Decorator . Joining us on a full time, permanent basis, you will be based with our team in Central London and in return, you will receive a competitive salary. In return for joining us, we can offer you: - Pension scheme - Occupational Health support - Excellent investment in training and personal development - Profit and performance related bonus scheme - Supportive and close-knit team - Excellent company culture Responsibilities of our Painter/Decorator include: - Effectively, efficiently and properly complete painting and decorating work on internal or external residential project sites in Central London so that work is delivered within time, to budget and to desired quality - You will be able and willing to follow instructions as set out by the Site Manager or Supervisor and ensure quality work - We are looking for someone who is proactive, a good communicator with good spoken English, able to work within the H&S policy and site rules - Follow the identified safe systems of work - Aligned with company values and intent with a positive attitude and sense of humour, and will always be professional and courteous - You must be a team player who embraces challenges, and manages highs and lows with equal enthusiasm - You will be open to new ideas, training and learning and willing to challenge yourself to develop new skills and knowledge. To be considered as our Painter/Decorator, it is essential that you have the following skills and experience : - CSCS General Operative or higher pass essential and correct card must be held - Minimum NVQ Level 2 held or willing to achieve this and/or relevant trades qualifications - Proven experience of delivering quality work on prestigious project sites - Experience of working with other operatives, dealing with residents and following instruction as per a client’s specification of works. - Ability to work functionally Our ideal Painter/Decorator will also be able to demonstrate: - Multi task and work both on own initiative and to instructions - Willingness to be ‘hands on’ in order to foster a positive working environment and utilise all skills and resources available on site - Excellent attention to detail and ability to check own work - Good standard of understanding of Health and Safety issues and willingness to take responsibility for your own safety and that of others, including reporting any and all H&S issues to Site Managers for action - Must be conscious of maintaining a good working environment and clean and tidy welfare facilities - Positive, conscientious person with good spoken English and strong communication skills Don’t miss out on this opportunity Click ‘Apply’ now to become our Painter/Decorator.
