Working with stakeholders to understand and interpret business requirements, we are looking for someone who demonstrates: Main Responsibilites: Maintain and develop the organizations network infrastructure Contribute and deliver against strategic initiatives Own the problem, quality, deployment speed and cost (recommend if we should buy or build) The idea of learning new technologies appeals to you You want to develop and share your knowledge, support your colleagues and you want your team to be successful (it is about the team success not only yours). You are detail oriented An analytical mindset and pragmatic approach Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: design, deploy and manage LANs, WANs, wireless networks, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers, Access Points, IPPBX and other hardware, maximize network availability and performance through monitoring, troubleshooting network problems outages and scheduling upgrades. The Person Understanding of networking and distributed computing concepts, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, VPN, NAT, Routing, Switching and Firewalls, server virtualization, client/server applications, disaster recovery and business continuity Ability to troubleshoot and act as a level 2/3 support Installing or configuring Session Border Control (SBC) infrastructure Secure network system by establishing and enforcing global access control policies. Familiarity with voice principles and protocols / VoIP, especially SIP is of a benefit Knowledge of implementation and support of Ethernet networks (Enterprise level) with firewalls, routers and switches from vendors including Cisco. Theoretical or practical knowledge implementing security using VPN technologies including IPSec, SSL VPN, and encryption. Knowledge of Wireless technologies including WLAN controllers Working knowledge of tools including SolarWinds, Nagios, etc Working knowledge of and ability to support network products from vendors including Cisco, Juniper Networks, Arista, and HP are a plus. CCNA certification or higher preferred In addition, the concept of infrastructure as a code is not foreign to you, and you should have knowledge of Amazon AWS services, DevOp tools and processes
