Overview

This is an opportunity to secure a highly visible role that operates at a senior level with responsibilities that will have an impact on this fast-developing sector with great potential. The Programme Manage is responsible for the develop project plans for these life changing therapies so that they reach their potential and reach patients. The Programme Manager is involved right from the early acquisition phase of projects, providing input on features such as the science, development of transaction structures, intellectual property, technical milestones, legal and financial terms for research programmes. You will assume day to day responsibility for the management of research and development projects working in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Taking these throughout the entire lifecycle from initiation to close using your own expertise and drawing on others to take these across the translational gap to the clinic. This is an excellent role because of its visibility to the senior management team and will have an impact on the sector and the commercialisation of these life changing therapies. They are seeking high calibre individuals who through this role can gain the exposure and expertise needed to become a future leader. Desired Skills and Competencies: The criteria seeking a high caliber individual who has gained broad scientific and commercial exposure during their career with a relevant scientific back ground (cell biology, molecular biology etc.) and project management experience. Within a relevant sector such as Cell & Gene Therapies, Biologics, Biopharmaceutical, CMO or CRO for example. You will need to have experience of managing Research & Development projects and have the ability to work with a range of stakeholders The Company: The company are a centre of excellence that are driving this sector forward through new innovation and the adoption of new technologies with projects coming from the UK, Europe, US and Asia.
