Assistant Management Accountant - Warwick £25,000 - £28,000 Pension, Healthplan, DIS Our client is part of an internationally listed technology group who have been successfully trading for over 40 years. Due to their continued growth, they are seeking to recruit an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join their Warwickshire based UK Head Quarters. As part of this role, you will receive a range of benefits that include 26 days holiday (excluding Bank Holidays), free parking, Medical scheme and a contributory pension scheme As an Assistant Management Accountant, your responsibilities will include: Preparation of the Month-end overhead reporting Preparing financial reports (journals, prepayments, accruals) Work with other areas of the business to provide insightful analysis to be used to assess the profitability and performance of the business Create and manage project structures, reviewing project-related costs within the Monthly accounting process Provide the senior finance team with support on matters relating to the annual audit and statutory accounts process Preparation and distribution of sales invoicing Monitoring the use of and reporting of customer purchase orders to ensure any WIP is recorded appropriately Support the wider finance function in any matters relating to the month-end or project lifecycles We are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant who has the following skills and experiences: A strong level of education and working towards a professional accountancy qualification such as ACCA or CIMA Strong Commercial awareness A solid understanding of the fundamentals of accounting and how they fit into the wider organisation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Previous ERP systems knowledge, ideally project cost modules Advanced Excel ability As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will be joining a company that has a strong reputation for adopting an innovative approach to their market sector and an established team of experienced finance/accountancy colleagues for whom "teamwork" is an essential attribute.
