Overview
Assistant Tax Accountant required for a business based in Warwick. Responsibilities will include; - Input into data extraction and analysis for the corporation tax returns Assist in development of in-house systems and processes for UK legislative changes. - Assist in the preparation of the draft Society group company tax return computations in Alphatax. Identify the tax status and subsequent tax treatment for the tax computations of repairs, renewals, legal & professional fees and asset additions and disposals. Collect and collate capital allowance information for inclusion in the annual tax computations. - Assist with HMRC corporation tax return enquiries. - Assist Financial and Tax Accountant with elements of half year and annual Corporation Tax reporting; - VAT - assist in the preparation of the Society group VAT return computations including review of Vat items, Vat codes, invoices and the treatment of costs associated with each business sector; - Develop and maintain VAT and Tax knowledge to be able to support the Tax team and the wider business; My client is a leading business based in Warwick with an modern and friendly working environment.
