The client is above all looking for a candidate with a sound all round knowledge- They are not fine dining on a daily basis however need to be able to raise the bar when required due to the private members and nature of clientele at the Club They Have a strong function and event business - events up to 150/200 (larger with the use of a marquee in the summer months. Bar/ Clubhouse serving a typical/ seasonal British/ Breakfast Lunch Menu All fresh menus - Head Chef - Ex Exec from Foxhills (2aa Rosette) Golf and Leisure resort in Woking Needs to be a candidate happy to work in a small team - 4/5 in brigade- Someone also happy to learn and a Good team player Would need to also drive due to location Straight Shifts Ideally qualified to NVQ Level 2 Would ideally like a candidate qualified to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent or have relevant kitchen experience. Have previous experience in a gastro pub or fresh food kitchen Be determined to learn and progress Have great communication skills and the ability to work well within a team Be passionate and enthusiastic about the industry.
