Overview

The Company As part of the organisation's Digital Transformation, our client is looking to recruit a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to play a key role in delivering a wide range of infrastructure solutions. The Role Working closely with the Technical Architecture team, you will be responsible for implementing infrastructure projects across the full stack of technologies including Server, Network and Telephony from diagnosing to investigating then planning to implementing infrastructure projects to improve uptime, system availability and resilience. In addition you will: Perform routine analysis on networks, firewalls, servers, operating systems, applications and devices. Work closely with the security team to ensure any project work or infrastructure changes are in accordance with security procedures. Devise plans with the security team to resolve issues and mitigate future issues ensuring plans are in accordance with security procedures. Proactively communicate upcoming infrastructure changes to the organisation. Use your up-to-date knowledge of IT infrastructure to identify opportunities to use emerging technology to increase efficiency and flexibility. The Requirements As an experienced Infrastructure Engineer, with extensive and strong end-to-end troubleshooting skills for systems, networks and applications, you will be comfortable in self-managing your workload and be experienced in delivering projects across a broad range of technologies to include: Microsoft windows server installation and administration Telephony administration and installation Microsoft Exchange server Active Directory Networking Server Virtualisation Experience with Cloud technologies such as Azure will be beneficial, though not essential. Most importantly you will contribute to the development of a culture of high engagement, where staff are empowered and entrusted to provide the best services for all stakeholders.
