You would oversee… o Internal and External Network Security o Virtual and Physical Server Build, Installation and Management o Datacentre Management and Monitoring o DR and BCP Implementation and Testing o Storage Area Network Installation and Management o Infrastructure Monitoring o Networked Systems Monitoring The Candidate The role will suit a technically strong IT professional, able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of network infrastructure principles and practices plus experience of a VMWare environment. You must be well versed in DR and BCP principles, HIPS/HIDS/SIEM implementation and monitoring, as well as a variety of Microsoft server application and Firewall technologies. Attention to detail and accurate documentation writing are key for the role. A flexible working attitude is essential as weekend, evening and out of hours work will be required.
