Director: Supply Chain Quality Assurance - Global FMCG Major - London/South East - £110-140k package With scope across Supplier Quality Assurance, New Product Development and Supply Chain Innovation, a rare opportunity has arisen within one of the world's most recognisable brands to drive tangible, positive change across their global supply chain. Built on innovation, sustainability and collaboration, this >$bn supply chain team contains some of the industries most revered supply chain professionals and they're looking for a Director to join them and head up SQA for their global business. In the role you will be leading a team, high-profile work streams across the global supplier base, focusing on supplier management and quality assurance across the global supply chain. You will utilise a state-of-the-art suite of tools to drive both compliance and efficiency, and to engage suppliers to drive ethical standards across their supply chains. What will the role entail? Working with procurement & commercial to help align a supplier strategy to mitigate risk across this $multibillion procurement function Working with the auditing team to assess issues of quality, labour standards, environmental and ethical compliance for all suppliers Managing instances of financial risk with suppliers and helping to implement a best in class process Working with the Global Head of Supply Chain Risk to educate all business units on risk aversion and essentially reducing costs on supply chain projects Working with the procurement and operations team to instil a sustainable and ethical supply chain What skills and experience are required? A proactive and energetic personality with excellent communication skills An understanding of procurement and experience working with suppliers and analysing their performance Industry certification preferred, such as ISO or FSSC22000 Ideally a background or understanding of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and promoting ethical and labour standards Excellent influencing skills with emotional intelligence and a commercial mind-set The ability to work in a fluid and global environment Degree educated preferred To hear more about this exciting senior opportunity, email Alex at to schedule a confidential call.
