Overview
M-Tec Engineering is currently recruiting on behalf of a major 1st tier automotive supplier who require a Material Planner for their Oxford based facility. As a Material Planner you will be responsible for the following: · Communicate with suppliers and ensure materials are delivered on time and meet the production plan · Manage the production of supply chain KPI’s · Support production requirements for inventory targets and logistics costs · Ensure that transport is arranged and planned efficiently · Contribute to continuous improvement activities as required · Manage daily cycle counts in line with company targets to ensure stock accuracy · Agree packaging requirements with the customer · Ensure shipments to the customer are in time and correct The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experiences: · 3 or more years Material Planning experience within a fast paced manufacturing environment · Experienced with MRP/ERP planning systems · Strong communicator and team player If you feel you match the requirements listed above please do not hesitate to apply M-Tec Engineering Solutions is a leading supplier of Permanent, Interim and Project Management Recruitment Solutions to the Automotive and General Engineering sectors.
